Welcome to Guesthouse DiWine in the heart of Merano.
We kindly invite you to read our Terms and Conditions carefully before making a reservation. By booking, you accept the conditions set out below.

1. Payment Methods

PayPal: When paying via PayPal, the amount is charged immediately. Please note that PayPal fees apply both to the initial payment and to any possible refunds. These fees amount to 3.4% of the total amount plus €0.35 per transaction and may vary depending on changes made by PayPal.
Credit Card as Guarantee: When a credit card is provided as a guarantee, no charge will be made until the deadline of the selected rate has been reached. Cancellation policies vary depending on the chosen rate.

2. Cancellation Policies

Flexible Rate – 7 Days

Free cancellation: Available up to 7 days before the check-in date.
After the deadline: In the event of cancellation after this deadline, 100% of the total booking amount will be charged.
Note: For payments made via PayPal, transaction fees will not be refunded.

Non-Refundable Rate

10% discount: This rate offers a special price with a 10% discount.
Payment and cancellation: The full amount is charged at the time of booking and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation or modification. For payments made via PayPal, transaction fees remain non-refundable.

Refundable Rate

Full refund: Available according to the specific conditions of the selected rate.
Service fees: Any payment-provider service fees, such as PayPal fees, will be deducted and are non-refundable. No additional fees apply to credit card payments unless the cancellation deadline has been exceeded.

3. General Terms

Check-in: Available from 3:00 PM to midnight. Arrivals after 8:00 PM must be communicated in advance.

Check-out: Must be completed by 10:00 AM on the day of departure.

Breakfast: Included in the price and served from 8:00 AM to 09:30 AM. Upon request, breakfast times may be adjusted:

Summer season: Early breakfast at 7:00 AM is free of charge. Breakfast before 7:00 AM is available at an additional cost of €7 per person. Requests before 6:00 AM will receive a complimentary packed breakfast.
Winter season: Breakfast before 8:00 AM is available at an additional cost of €7 per person. Requests before 7:00 AM will receive a complimentary packed breakfast.

Smoking and pets: Smoking is not permitted in any area of the property. Pets are not allowed.

Misuse of the property: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property and for the related repair costs. Inappropriate or unacceptable behaviour may result in the termination of the stay without refund.

4. Limitation of Liability

The Guesthouse is not liable for:

Damage, loss or theft suffered by guests during their stay.
Inconvenience caused by force majeure, such as adverse weather conditions, power outages or other unforeseen events beyond our control.

5. Jurisdiction

For any dispute related to this agreement, the Court of Bolzano shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

6. Early Departure

In the event of early departure before the scheduled check-out date, the amount paid will not be refunded.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

All data provided during the booking process will be processed in accordance with applicable data-protection regulations, including EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
